These are bullets! :
- If we actually had prepared, or even
- had show notes for you, these bullets
- would contain wonderful link-baity snippets designed
- to get both you and search engines interested, all without
- offending people or making fun of minority groups.

DECEMBER 1 IS THE SECOND (GREAT) CANADIAN NATIONAL DAY OF PODCASTING
This was so much fun last year, let’s do it again!
Here are the guiding principles :
- Put out a show! Dormant? Retired? Doesn’t matter – Do it!
- Don’t need to invent or reinvent anything. Just do a show like you used to – or something new, up to you. It’s all good.
- Reach out to “retired” producers. Spread the word.
- Don’t have a site anymore? Send us the audio – we’ll host it!
- HashTag: #CDNOP
On December 2nd-ish, we’ll post a (hopefully massive) list of all the participating shows on CanadaPodcasts.ca and Canadian Podcast Buffet – to be sure you haven’t missed any.
Les francophones sont invités a participer aussi, envoyer-nous vos liens!
Keep your earbuds on, this is going to be fun once again!
Thanks for participating!
Post an episode on Dec 1st, and everyone’s itunes or rss readers will light up like it’s 2005!
Let us know that you’ve put an episode out by linking to it in a comment on this post. We’ll post a list with links to all the episodes here and on CanadaPodcasts.ca . . If you prepared audio and don’t have a site anymore, email it to canadianpodcastbuffet AT gmail.com, and we’ll post it here for you. If it’s video, use one of the popular video sites (youtube, vimeo, etc) and send us that link.

As part of the Canadian National Day of Podcasting, the Canadian Podcast Buffet has offered to host podcasts for community members who no longer have their podcast web domains and RSS feeds. One such podcaster/podcast combination is James Whittingham’s JamesPod Podcast whose humourous catalog included live remote coverage of several editions of PAB and his 40th birthday episode, recorded as the clock struck 12am.
Guess who’s back on your iPod, baby! It’s episode 200 of JamesPod.
As part of the Canadian National Day of Podcasting, the Canadian Podcast Buffet has offered to host podcasts for community members who no longer have their podcast web domains and RSS feeds. One such podcaster/podcast combination is Daniele Rossi’s short-lived The Laughing Podcast. Daniele sent the following email to accompany this episode.
I had a very short lived podcast called The Laughing Podcast. Shortlived because I also had started Stuttering Is Cool around the same time not thinking it would last beyond 4 episodes. However, the stuttering podcast got more successful than I had thought and no longer had the time for the Laughing Podcast (my third podcast in production at the time).
The concept of The Laughing Podcast was listeners phone my K7 number and simply laugh. Then I post it. Laughing is contagious so I hoped my podcast would be a great pick-me-up.
The website is no more but in the spirit of the Canadian Day of Podcasting, here’s episode 8.
