CPB12 – Lucky Dozen

You’d think we were drunk with the audio quality of our own voices in this show. Actually, we were both out of beer.

What makes a Podcast Canadian?

Okay, okay!!! This has come up a number of times.

“Why are you promoting them? They aren’t Canadian.”

“Am I a Canadian Podcast?”

“Really? Canada lost to Finland???”

To be considered a Canadian Podcast that can be promoted on the Canadian Podcast Buffet, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Everything about your Podcast is Canadian (hosts, producers, home city, etc…)
  • Your Podcast contains completely Canadian content
  • At least one of the main hosts is Canadian (expats accepted)
  • You, or your Podcast, reside in Canada
  • Your Podcast appears in the Canadian node of the iPodder directory, also known as CanadaPodcasts.ca
  • You don’t have Finnish or Swiss ancestry (we may be able to overlook this)

Now, back to our grief.

CPB11 – Feb 16th

With the last minute addition of late breaking news about a new concept in interactive podcasting (actually, I think I’ll start calling it participatory podcasting), the Highlight Reel and Tip of the Week have been bumped from this episode.
